U90C Announces New Tournament Series in South Texas

U90C is pleased to introduce a new tournament series to its portfolio of regional and national events. The Round Rock tournament series will debut in August 2017 with the Sports Capital Classic. This new event will be played at the new $28M, Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, just outside of Austin. Our new tournament series in Round Rock, Texas will consist of the following 5 events: Sports Capital Classic: August 11-13, 2017

The ROCK: November 10-12, 2017 Round Rock Open: December 8-10, 2017 U90C Cup & Showcase: December 29-31, 2017 Hill Country Classic: February 16-19, 2018 "We are pleased to expand our footprint into South Texas and the Austin-area and partner with the City of Round Rock", said Monty Holloway, Executive Director of U90C. "Our Dallas area customers have been asking us to host tournaments in other geographies for years because they trust the professional approach in which we execute and the attention we give to seeding, scheduling, and conflict resolution." added Holloway. U90C anticipates multiple Dallas area teams will travel to Round Rock over the various tournament dates and compete with teams in the South Texas region.

About the U90C Soccer Tour The U90C Soccer Tour is a multiple destination tournament offering for youth soccer teams ages U6-U19. The initial goal of this tour is to give Dallas area teams travel tournament options with the assurance of the same playing format, rules and advancement opportunities, and the same great customer support they have received at U90C tournaments for years. The Soccer Tour debuted in 2016 and encompassed four tournaments with destinations in Dallas, Tulsa, and Austin. About the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex Just 15 miles north of the state capitol in Austin, the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex will include 4 natural grass multipurpose fields and 1 natural grass championship field, 4 synthetic turf multipurpose fields and 1 synthetic turf championship field, parking, Musco sports lighting, restroom/concessions building, spectator amenities, playground and more. The Round Rock Multipurpose Complex will be open for play Spring 2017. This state-of-the-art venue will allow Round Rock to host many new sporting events, including: soccer, ultimate frisbee, rugby, lacrosse and flag football.
